lost notepad

I somehow got rid of notepad on my cmptr.  Can anyone tell
me where I can get another copy to reinstall on my
cmptr??  Thanks...............

Extract a new copy of "Notepad.exe" from your Windows CD or from the CAB file location on your hard drive (usually C:\Windows\Options\Cabs, if it exists).  You can use System File Checker (SFC) to "Extract one file" to the Windows folder on your hard drive.
