Ive tried to reformat my hard disk i used the fdisk and when done i was got a message to restart pc then format the disc when the pc restarts i get a message when i type reformat that "required parameter is missing...now wha After you run fdisk, re-boot the computer, and at the prompt type: FORMAT C: and press Enter (Were you typing "reformat?) It also tells you how to make another bootdisk. I wonder id the one you're using is bad. If you don't HAVE to have it(Because of limitation of your PC's original BIOS or OS), uninstall it. But regardless, you have to get to the A:\ prompt, and with a boot disk in the drive type: format c: /s. HTH.
