I had a virus in my computer. I have removed it and my
operating system was wiped out at restart. I am trying to
reinstall from win 98 recovery disk. But fdisk starts and
repartiones the disk but then stops and restarts again. I
used a start up diskette. When i try to format, it says
format is not supperted on c drive. What do I do? How can
I format c drive? Thanks for your help.

Try making a new floppy startup disk included in the instructions on how to
partition, format and install W98:
