USB Portable Hard Drive

I need help installing a USB Portable hard drive on my
windows 98 system. I've tried almost everything and i keep
getting the message that i need to insert the windows 98
cd rom. I don't have this CD. Is there anything else i can
do?

Windows 98 CD-ROMs are often available on e-Bay, or through the on-line
computer software stores.
