I have Windows 98SE.  My system got locked up and so I
Control/Alt/Deleted to reboot.  When it rebooted, it got
the screen that shows what is in the autoexec.bat file and
just stayed there.  So, I Control/Alt/Deleted again,
pressed F8 to get the safe mode menu.  I choose to go into
safe mode.  Once I got into windows, I went to control
panel and system.  I choose the performance tab and I have
the following message:  Compatibility Mode Paging reduces
overall system performance; Drive A is using an MS-DOS
compatibility mode file system; Drive C is using an MS-DOS
compatibility mode file system (A - being my floppy drive
and C - being my hard drive).  I've searched for the NoIDE
in my registry and there is no reference.  There is
nothing in my config.sys file.  Need help.
