Hi, I have a corruptded file in My Documents.  I cannot
move/copy it nor can I erase it.  It is garbage.  How can
I purge it?
Please, can you respond to my email address as well as the
group.
Thanks

E-mail support not available - sorry. It is not a good idea to post your
e-mail address in a message as it will be harvested by spammers and viruses.

What happens when you try to delete it?

Right-click the file and make a note of the DOS file name.  Boot to DOS
(press and hold Ctrl before Windows starts, and select command prompt only
from the menu that appears) and delete the file from DOS. Use
    DEL  dosfilename
where you use the DOS file name that you noted earlier instead of
dosfilename.
