I HAVE WINDOWS 98 AND I WISH TO INSTALL WINDOWS 2000 BUT
THE MESSAGE ON MY COMPUTER TELLS ME I HAVE TO GET AT LEAST
638M FREE DISK SPACE ON THE DRIVE, HOW DO I DO THIS?

How big is your disk ?
How much free space do you have ?

Are you upgrading to W2K or Making a dual boot system?

first backup anything from your win98 you want to save

next boot from your win2k cd and go to the installation
(be sure your bios is set to boot from cdrom)

you can delete your partition the reformat NTFS all from within the context
of
the installtion
