at the log on screen and desktop screen, there's like a split screen as the images overlap. what can i do to fix it? Try removing your display adapter from Device Manager or change it to Standard VGA. Once you have done that, reinstall your display driver making sure that you have the latest one from the manufacturer of your computer or the display adapter manufacturer.
