My computer runs Win98 SE and the browser is IE6. When I check any webpage
with images, images show as if they were made of little squares, as if they
did not have a "plain" texture.

If I check the same webpage in another computer, pictures just show fine. If
I check a picture on the computer without problems and email it t the
computer with problems, the computer with problems shows the image fine as
if having a plain texture with no little squares. But if I open the webpage
containing the images, they show kind of distorted.

Configuration is 1024 * 768 pixels true color 32 bit. I have changed those
values with no improvement. I already updated the video and the Monitor
controllers

Any ideas of how can I solve this?

Thanks in advance

I don't think this is a virus. I have the lattest security patches and an
updated AV that is run frequently.

Anyone else has an idea?
