internet explorer 6 not reading java vx86

I have had to recently re-load my win98 and have loaded my
java but java is not being read by IE. For example on
pogo.com i can get on the site but that is as far as i can
go.  The error says JAVA is not loaded or is not
functioning properly. Yes i have java enabled in my
internet options and redownloaded javavx in case my old
one was corrupted, any suggestions would be most
appreciatated, thank you

This is not a display question so you may not find an answer here.  You
might be better off in posting to a IE6 newsgroup.  Scroll back up the
Community Newsgroups list to Internet Technologies.
