Joe, I've found the CD with the correct driver on it, so assume is already installed as all was well a few days ago - before I started 'fiddling'. 2 questions - should I install it again anyway? I saw (using win explorer) that it was set to run with Directx5 - a couple of days ago, I downloaded Directx9. Is that the problem? Should I un-install it? Or shall I just go shoot myself? Thanks for trying to help. Erika. If you have the video drivers CD you can install it from there. Or you can download the Graphics Accelerator Driver [PV40_9x.EXE] from the Intel website at: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Product_Filter.asp?ProductID=76 DirectX is backward compatible. It should not cause any problems with your video driver, so you can leave DirectX 9 installed.
