Hi .. I want to warn others about ViewSonic LCD Monitor .
One and Four will receive a
Defected monitor from ViewSonic . I have a new LCD
monitor from ViewSonic and now I
Am now told that I can receive >>> Replacement product or
parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or
components <<< Wow huh? Just after 3 months old and its
in for repairs
Or whatever . Would you feel this warranty is
satisfying ??? I mean your unit should be either replace
with a new one or have all that is need to repair the
unit with new parts not with
refurbished parts , Wouldn't you agree ??? So people be
very careful when buying
VIEWSONIC I truly believe there service and product is
totally GARBAGE .

You will find that most manufacturers provide that replaced or repaired
items might be either new or refurbished. That's why I refuse to allow a
product that is not working on delivery to be repaired under warranty - it
must be replaced with a new one. But if the unit was working for a while
and then failed the manufacturer is only obliged to meet the conditions of
the warranty, and that may include using refurbished parts.

What's more important is the term of the warranty for the repaired or
replaced unit - whether it's the same as the original warranty from the date
of repair, or just the remainder of the original term, or some different
period.
