The "my Computer" icon has changed and it now has a
windows media icon.Apart from that it is fine.It is my
neighbours computer and I have fixed some other problems
on it and it is running fine except for this problem. When
I picked it up it had 601 I-Worm/Netsky.Q virus's on it.
Theser were picked up while running Live Update for
Nortons. I have got rid of all of the virus's. I am
wondering if the virus has caused the problem.Hoping
someone may be able to help me. Thank you in advance.

The first thing to do is to see if it is using the right icon in
Control Panel-Display-Effects tab.
It should be using the first icon in "C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe"
If you press "Default Icon" it should be reset.
