Big problem with jpg

images opening with Win 98 on daughters machine.When clk to open it does
nothing and Task Manager shows Explorer not responding.please help.

It may be as simple as correcting the jpg association in File Types.
Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types.
What do you show there?
If you are not familiar with File Types, then you may find it easier
to install another graphics application.
