I use Win98 and IE6. I changed my desktop (via Display
Properties/Appearance/Scheme) to High Contrast White (Large)
but found it too big and reverted to the old setting
(Windows Standard). But now when I start up the computer
it remembers the big setting not the Windows Standard.
Strangely, it remembers Windows Standard sometimes
if I re-start, but if I have powered down completely
I get the unwanted setting every time I re-boot.
Any suggestions?
BTW I re-installed Win98 and IE6 but that didn't help.

Toggle the setting to something different and then back to the one that you
want.  Sometimes this will fix a problem like this.
