I have two machines. One has win98 using 256 colors and 800x600 screen
area. It is a gateway machine with a 82810 intel DC100 video adaptor.
The colors, on the screen and even when I go
to web sites, are fantastic. I mean you can really see color.
The other is a HP laptop, with an nvida card and 32 bit 1020 area. I
have colors but like if I go to a web page, the page is like blue in
the toolbar area and barely any color in the page.
I guess I don't really know how to explain it, but I wish I had the
colors of my 98 machine on my xp machine.
Do I have a setting problem somewhere or can someone give me an
explanation of what's going on or if this group can't help, where else
should I look?      Thanks

Go to HP's support site and download/install the latest up-to-date drivers
for the laptop/OS per their instructions.
