cd rom not working

i try to put a cd into the cd rom drive and it does not start the cd player
what can i do to fix this problem feel free to email me i have a new email
address it is tmm5899@inbox.com it is checked more often then hotmail.

Is it that the CDRom drive won't auto start or does the drive not work at
all?  If it is just that the drive won't start, go to control panel, system,
device manager, open CDRom, double click your CDRom, settings tab and make
sure the auto insert box is marked.
