Hi
I had to reinstall Win98 on this second-hand Gateway machine.
I tried to download and install the drivers for the monitor, but the Setup
defaults all the time to the generic VGA settings - 16 colours and 640x480.

How can I get to use the full potential of this monitor?
Thanks

Drivers for the monitor are not relevant to your problem and are probably
not needed.

Download and install drivers for your video adapter card.  Identify the make
and model from the Gateway site and find the video display adapter drivers
best suited to your video adapter card, or if the adapter is on the
motherboard, the video adapter drivers for your motherboard.
