Please don't SHOUT, it hurts the eyes.

16 bit programs run just fine on a 32 bit formatted hard disk.

If you have a particular program that is giving you a particular problem
then post the complete details.

THis doesn't make sense as you've stated it. Your disk is (presumably)
using the FAT32 file system. That's simply a way of organizing data on
the disk, and has nothing to do with running your program. You are
(again, my presumption based on the fact that you're posting in this
group) running the Win98 operating system. Win98 - either original or
SE - knows how to read from and write to a FAT32 partition. It also
knows how to run both 16-bit and 32-bit programs. So your Win98 or
Win98SE system should be able to run your 16-bit program regardless of
what file system you're using.

There are a few exceptions. Programs that try to directly access the
file system, instead of using the normal OS functions will fail unless
they know exactly what they are doing. And they may take your
partition with them. Such programs are very rare.

So what, specifically are you running into? Give some details, and
we'll try to help you out.
