Hi,

I am trying to reinstall Windows 98. I did an fdisk and
created a new partition. It then told me to restart the
computer so I did. When I restarted to format the hard
drive the computer rebooted and it said please remove any
disks or boot disks and restart your computer so I did
and it said Searching for Boot Record from IDE - 0..OK. I
cannot run the cd from the cd rom to try install windows
98. Should I get a different boot disk or do I need
drivers or what is going on? Please help! Thanks!

It sounds like you never did format the partition(s) and that is your
first step.  Once done, install W98 per the instructions here:
http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/w98_restore.html (they also have
info about formatting).
