my friends computer does not boot up its as though her c
drive is not there, could you tell me about fat 32 and how

FAT32 is a file system. That means it is the definition of how things
are organized on the hard drive.

Knowing the innards of FAT32 isn't going to help your friend. Tell us
*exactly* what her computer is saying to her, then we may be able to
help.
