Hello;

I'm using W98 2nd edition, Hebrew enabled. I ran Scandisk
on a 20GB hard disk after Norton Utility defragmentation
did not complete the job.

The end result of the process was that most directories
and file names became corrupted (the names were changed to
$,#,! and one, sometmes more characters from the original
names are preserved).

This impacted the entire disk, altough in some cases the
original names remained.

Are there any automatic fixes for this problem?
