I am in a similar situation. I have installed a new hard
drive (80 G). Prior to this the drive had XP pro but I
don't have that. I have Win 98 and have "0" filled the new
hard drive as per the Manufatures instructions. When I
load my 98 start up disk I get the message about Fat 32
and partitions not being correct to load  Win 98. Dispite
clearing the Hard Drive several times I get this same
error. Can anyone help?

Are you using the correct version of FDISK?

Seemy 12/18 general & SFI postings from WeldGuru.  Maybe
there's no problem, try simply loading startup drivers,
removing floppy and holding down cntl until windows flag
shows back up.  Best of luck.
