hello all
Reinstalling after a Major Crash that I could not save Data from.

I bought another 512Mb for my Gigabite MB and Updated the BIOS to Version 4F
for the GA-7VAX-A from 3F version Because it was having problems...... this
is a Dual Cannel Board......
anyway I reinstalled the system and it all worked fine until I installed the
Nvidia Driver for my GForce 4 MXX SE

It tells me that there is a Windows Protection Error and when I go to
Ctl+Alt+Del it gives me a Stacks Overrun and then asks me to Reset the
Stacks......
The line is
stacks=9, 256

Is there a Way of Changing this to Fix the problem.... or is there something
else causing it.... this is because you can start in Safe Mode..... I think
this is Caused by something Nvidia installed with the driver?

Ill try Unplugging one of the Ram Chips and see if the problem stops..... If
so it might be a bad Ram..... or I need to setup the Dual Cannel
settings.......

win98 can have problems with vcache
if you use more than 512 megs of ram

you can make the adjustment manually

do a google search for vcahe settings win98

or use a utility such as cacheman
