I have 2 hard drives on my pc. What I need to know is what
program can I use to tell windows the actual size of each
drive. Drive Space only sees 2mb of each one. Is this the
last 2mb left on each one? C:drive is 6g and D: is 10g. I
have had the c: drive in other pcs and it carries my win98
software on it. I want to know if I can set up drive D: on
a different operating system like XP? I want to set them
to boot seperatly and so on. What are the possibilities of
problems having to operating systems on my pc. Thanks

Why are you running drivespace?
Are you trying to compress a drive _ a potential disaster in the making
Or is the drive compressed.
If you click MyComputer then open C:, what shows as C:'s size and amt of
free space?

I wasn't running drivespace just looking in there
Drivespace3 actually. C is a 6.54 GB with 1.5 GB left. D
drive is 10.2 GB with 10.1 GB left. Can I just try
windowsXP on drive D: and leave C:win98 in tact? What are
the problems if I do this and XP dont work?

drive space is a utility used to compress a fat16 drive
which you don't have!
just right click on the drive in question
in "my computer" or windows explorer
if your machine meets the requirments
if you now have win98 on drive C:
you *can* install XP on drive D:
dual boot will be setup by default
