In my control Panel I see drive c@d, I do not see a drive
for my cdrom. Drive C is partitioned into C& D. How do I
get drive D to be the CDROM or how do I another drive for
the CDROM.

Does your CD-ROM appear as a device in device manager?  If it does, is it
reported as operating properly?
