I have an computer with NT 4.0 Worstation on it. I wanted
discontinuing using NT and start using Windows 98
instead. I booted to Windows 98 startup disk and
proceeded to FDISK my hard drive. The problem I have is
that I was only able to remove the primary DOS partition
but NOT the Extended partition. I was able to set the new
FAT32 partition but now I cannot delete either one of
them. I can only access part of my 13 GB hard drive.

Can this be resolved using a NT Worstation disk? Did I do
this in the wrong order?

Thanks for you support.

The NT disk should have been used for the removal.  Try this:

Zap or Wipe freeware will remove all partition information so you can start
over fresh with FDisk.  Download here:
