I had my machine set-up as a 98 and XP dual-boot system.
After having problems booting XP, I formatted both the 98
and XP partitions and re-installed 98. Now, I can't get rid
of the NTFS partition because 98's FAT32 system can't
detect the NTFS partition.
The Knowledge Base says something about using the Disk
Administrator to fix this problem......... what is this
"Disk Administrator", and where can I find it?

Any other solutions for getting back my "lost" HD space?

Depends a little on what you want to do and where you want to end up.

If you want to have the dual boot configuration, you can reinstall winXP.
During install you will get the option of reformatting the partition.
Refomat using FAT32 or NTFS whatever you want.

If you do not want a dual boot configuration, you could use FDISK to delete
the NTFS partition, then use FDISK to recreate another FAT32 partition.
Foramt the new partition
