during windows start up the following message appears,
could not find 'main16.exe' specified in WIN.INI file
I have reloade windows (98) tried to find file to no avail.
Seems to be a system32 file.
How do I restore or remove from WIN.INI?

Hi,

Go to Start - Run and type Sysedit then pick OK.
Look at the Win.ini file at the Load= and Run= lines.
If main16.exe is to the right of one of these lines remove it.
Exit and save. Reboot the system.
