Dear sir/madam,
I had changed my important folder contains files and
subfolders to ASCI format by DOS Prompt. At the time of
renaming by mistake i was pressed another key and now i
couldn't remember the same. I forgot the ASCI name what
was i applied. How can i recover my folder with files? I
can change if get the ASCI code with corresponding
changes, then i will do.
Regards,

Create a new folder with the correct name, and copy the
contents of the problem folder to the new folder.

When you have confirmed that the files are OK in the new
folder, delete the original folder using Windows
Explorer.  If Explorer can't delete the folder, open a
DOS window, change directory (CD) to the parent of the
problem folder, and use DELTREE with wildcards. For
instance, if the problem folder is
Bad_Name
where _ is an unknown character, use
Deltree BAD*NAME
