I PICK UP A ZEOS PANTERA PC WHICH HAD BEEN CLEARED,AND
ORIGINALLY HAD WIN-95 AS OPERATING SYSTEM. I TRY TO
UPGRADE TO WIN 98. EVERYTHING WENT WELL UNTIL THE END.
WHEN RESTART PC COMES UP W/FILES MISSING, DEALING
W/MONITOR. THE DOCUMENTATION REFERS TO FAT32. THE OLD SYS
WAS UNDER FAT16. DOES THIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE? HOW I CAN
REFORMAT THIS HARD DRIVE TO CLEAN DRIVE. ANY SUGESTIONS
WELCOME.

win98 can be installed on either fat16 or fat32...so that is not the
problem...
more than likely all you need do is reinstall the drivers for your video
card...
