I am experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer. My
basic problem is that I can not change my current home
page. Under the General tab the area is grayed out and I
can not change change the selection to the web site that I
want... Example..when I try to change my home page in the
internet options dialog box on the tools section, I am not
able to type an address in the address box, and the
following bottons are simply not available: Use Current,
Use Default, Use Blank. Current home page that I can not
change is MSN. I used to subscribe to them about 5 years
ago.

I have no idea what caused this. I have performed a virus
check. There are none on my computer.

I have used the Microsoft data base article - 320159
describes my problem. I followed the instructions using
regedit. Howevere, value or the home page value does not
exist there !!!

Any help would greatly be appreciated...

Thank You

Do you have Spybot installed? If so, look at the "Lock IE Start Page"
option under the Immunize button.
