I just downloaded Explorer 6 and to my dismay found that
it has really messed up the appearance of my web pages.
Since the download, when my On Line Server is smart dialed
it comes up in a size that is almost full screen;  I
cannot see or reach minimize/maximize/exit boxes in upper
right hand corner.  Moreover, the graphics appear "fuzzy",
i.e., unresolved, sort of like the safe-start mode of
windows.  Also, the background colors behind the text
boxes and tool bar have been altered to a sort of grey
houndstooth pattern.  This also happens when I go to Yahoo-
-the color boxes on Yahoo have all been altered and the
size of the page does not fit the screen.  What can I do
to fix this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Ron, I have been trying all weekend to get a fix for this.
There is one thing that I have to do, it clears up the
pictures: Place cursor over image, Right click, then
select SHOW ALL ORIGINAL IMAGES... it will download them
clearer - but what a pain! I am on NetZero, and have same
problem with IE being caught under the ISP task bar.
Another pain I have no fix for except to keep the page
running at minmal settings )o:
Cheers, Chuck

Sounds like you might have an ActiveX problem.  On my old
computer, I had to revert to an older version of ActiveX
when I had those problems.  Check and see if you updated
ActiveX, and if so you might want to downgrade.  If not,
try upgrading to the new version and see.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem of no background colors?  If so,
please post it online or send me an email at dary@optonline.net . Thanks.
