I recently downloaded IE 6. After doing so, when I open
up a .jpg file, IE opens and shows the picture instead of
Microsoft Photo, which was my default viewer before I
loaded IE 6. How can I change my setting back to make
Photo Ed my default viewer for .jpg, .bmp and .gif files?

Ivon,

Hold down your shift key. Right click a picture file. Select 'open with'.
Choose your preferred programme and select the option to always use the same
programme.
