Installing NetGear wireless nic card on laptop running
Win98. Keeps telling me "WG511WLU.exe is linked to missing
export MFC42.dll:6781". Netgear is no help - says it a MS
OS problem... anybody know? This file is located in 4
places on my c: including windows/system....  HELP.

That error generally means that the version of mfc42.dll on your computer is
not compatible with the software written by Netgear, ie the version of mfc42
is too old, or too new.
