I am a Bellsouth Internet customer and access the internet
through MSN. Everytime I try to access the internet, I
receive an illegal operation error message and cannot
access the internet.  After trying to acces a few times,
then I'll receive a page cannot be displayed message.
What do I do to correct the error message so I may log on
to the internet?

For advice specific to problems with secure sites, have a look at the first
link - for general advice, have a look at the second:

I cannot help you with the illegal operation error because you have not
provided any details.
