HELP! Address Bar not working

Okay, one thing: Internet Explorer works fine when I'm
exploring, and search. However, windows Explorer, or "my
computer" icon, doesn't work with searching.
From the address bar this is. If I search for 'what is
this' it brings the site http:///?%20what%20is%20this
which is quite annoying. I'm a guy who likes to use the
windows key and e to open up my browser window, and this
new discovery, after I fixed my internet explorer, does
make me quite mad. Any suggestions on how to fix this
small annoyance?
Oh yeah, most recent version of internet explorer (so that
shouldn't be the problem)

Please refer this question to a general discussion for your operating
system. FWIW, %20 is a translation for a space in a URL.

It does sound like a hijacking though; check out this URL for hijacking
