I use IE 6. Whenever i try to download data I get the
following message:
' Internet cannot download (whatever it is) from (whatever
site it is).
Intenet Explorer is unable to open this site. Requested
site either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try
again later'.
No idea why it is telling me this as the sites are
available.

Clear your Temporary Internet files cache...according to MS, this
problem can be caused by temp file corruption.

Thanks for this.  I think you are onto something as when I
went to the settings page in Tools, Internet Options,
Temporary Internet the Amount of Disk Space to use slider
is set at 0 and when I attempt to adjust it I get
ERROR 'Please select a value between 1 and 0 for how much
disk space temporary internet files may use'. I can't
change this.  Any ideas...it seems likely this is linked
to my original problem?
