I have a strange issue with my PC.

I can't access certain websites and I can't access certain
web services.
For example, I can't view the AOL website and I CAN NOT
use AOL Instant Messenger.  Strangely enough, however, I
can use MSN and Yahoo Messenger.
I cannot access certain other websites, and occaisionally
I have trouble accessing Google.  Google seems to be the
only one that varies.
About 80% of all other sites work without problems, but
since it affects my messenger programs, it's not just
websites.  Does anyone have any idea what's happening here?

For advice specific to problems with secure sites, have a look at the first
