IE is getting that information from the well-hidden Index.dat in the History
folder. To tell you how to delete that I would have to know your operating
system and the location of the History file.

what you mean by location of the History file...it says,
when I go to find, C:\Windows...does that help at all? On
my history button, it lets me view by date, site, site
most visited, and order of visits...it seems as though, if
I have it set on order of visited, and then delete the
history, that it usually deletes it completely...but if I
have it set on date, and then do a delete...when I come
back to check it is still there....does it make a
difference in ability to view things from the history file
in regards to Hotmail, if you have made sure to log out of
the site. It seems as though sometimes I can view my
daughters inbox, and wondered if that was because she
failed to log out. Thanks for your help! It's very
frustrating!
