This AUTOEXEC.BAT. Win98 does not require
this file in normal installations.

I'm interpreting it to mean my Autoexec.bat file is being removed. Is
this correct?

This AUTOEXEC.BAT. Win98 does not require

But it does need it if you are ever going to have a DOS session.
