My computer has Windows 98 Second Edition.
I couldn't find the CD that came with my computer.
So I used a friend's. I don't know what's wrong, but I
can't install Dial-Up internet now.
Everytime I try to install, in the Internet Connection
Wizard it says it cannot detect a modem. My computer is an
IBM Aptiva. It use to have Internet until I tried to
upgrade it. (but that didn't work).
I'm also trying to find the modem that my computer has.
Is there a way I can find the model?

Right click "My Computer" > Properties > Device Manager

Is the modem listed there?.... if so, double click it (or click
Properties)... is it shown as working?
