I was surfing around yesterday when of course suddenly
five or six pages pop up. Before I knew it some browser
utility (Power search?) and some utility to speed up your
computer were loading. I tried to stop them but not sure
how far they go.

Anyway, this one PC is messed up. I cannot seem to browse
outside my home network. I can ping external things by IP
but not name. I cannot browse anything even with IP. I can
see thing on my home network and the other PC on my home
network is working fine with no troubles.

Anyone have any idea where to start?

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I haven't had any luck with any of
the numerous 'fixes' I have tried. It's as though something is just blocking
all DNS requests no matter what I remove/replate/update.
