Who do you contact when you are having trouble receiving an item that was
ordered through the internet. I ordered a download antivirus, payment went
through. I never heard from the company. 30 days later I e-mail asking what
is going on. We now have spent 3 days going back and forth because the link
they keep giving me will not work. And I am just plain tired of messing with
them. I have been ordering off the internet for years and never had any
problem. I do not know if there is a web site to go to or do you treat this
like you would a business you walk into and purchase something, problems you
can at least report them to the better business bureua.

Who was it ordered through?  What was the name of the antivirus
program?  Was it Win Antivirus? I hate to say it but if it has been
over 30 days I think you were taken.  I would contact you credit card
company and explain the situation to them.  they maybe able to stop
payment.

I ordered CyberScrub AntiVirus, Lifetime Edition from CyberScrub. They got
thier money on December 13, 2004. They finally gave me a link to try but it
would never work, finally they sent me a link and it worked but it is a trial
version. Now they will not answer any of of e-mails. Also, no it did not say
anything about being a WinVirus Protection. I have had it put to me before
and probably will again. I learn from my mistakes and this was a well learned
leason. Can you sugguest a good virus protection and firewall protection?
Thanks for your help.

If you paid using credit card, dispute the charge and get the charges
reversed.

Regarding good antivirus I recommend Etrust and AVG (AVG is free).  As for
firewall, ZoneLabs, Sygate and Kerio all have free versions available for
use, all of which I use (and test) on various machines.  If you are
inexperienced, go for ZoneAlarm.

I'll second the vote for AVG... I've been using it since ver 5 and
haven't really ever had a problem with it. Plus, it's free (for home use
without tech support). (Their 'paid' version is only 33.30 for a 2 year
license with discounts after that.)

I also use (and recommend) Zone Alarm.
