I am running windows 98 second edition. I have seen a lot
of patches that I can download for XP and 2000 but none
forwindows 98. Is it not affected by the worm. If it is
what do I need to do.
Thank you Steven
All news items and patch info all points to 2000 and XP.
I have not seen anythign that says it affects w9x machines.

Do you know if this is also true if Windows 98 has .Net installed?
Several scanning tools for this vulnerability will report a
vulnerability if the Windows 98 has .Net (which includes a DCOM
component).
