I run Computer Associates Internet Security Suite (except the popup-blocker
and child-proofing stuff) on a Pentium 200 and I barely notice it.
$20 for two years intro offer. Get it here:

For twenty bucks, it's a least worth a try, no?

Correction: The Internet Security Suite is $30 for two years (one year plus
a free year.) It's the AV-only that's $20.

Correction #2: You only have 32MB of RAM and that won't do it. Frankly, I
see no way to make any modern AV or Firewall run on only 32MB of RAM Minimum
for the Security Suite is 64, and that's not really enough, either. If you
want to keep that machine in safe condition while roaming the internet, you
need to upgrade that hardware. Do you happen to know what motherboard you
have? I have a few P200/233 boards. Might have one like yours. I know they
have plenty of RAM in them and as far as I'm concerned the parts are
surplus.

Hello .
There is neither free nor paid firewall for such an old computer.
You really should insert firewall protection because if you don't have a
firewall , your files will disappear.
Decision :
If you use LAN , DSL or Cable i-net ,buy a router with integrated hardware
firewall in it.It costs at about $40 and you can use it for long time.
Antivirus:
F-prot AV for Windows is paid antivirus which will work on your Windows 98.
One year subscription costs $29.95 and you can install it on 5 computer ,the
price is still the same.

Antispyware:
Ad-Aware SE Personal (free)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware
Always make sure you keep your antivirus and antispyware tools updated.
