I have installed  Netgear USB 2 adapter on USB 1 port.  Get good RF
signal but no connection to modem.  What's  really troubling is that it
works on wife's portable same software (wg111v2).  While I have other
USB stuff on my machine the wireless did work  for a very short time
while I was first trying it.  I have removed and   reinstalled the drive
a number of times.  I am really loss. I have looked in the  Control
panel/network ..TCP and both WG1110 files are their.  What to do??

Thanks for the input. I like to share with others when I beleive I have
solved the problem.  It appears that after a lot of roaming in the
darkness that the problem was Microsofts USMON.exe which was in my
startup file.  When I deactived that file on startup everything seems to
work OK more time will tell.
