Modem turns PC on

Hi

I have a Soft V92 Modem, problem is, everytime i make a phone call, it turns
my PC on.

How can i stop this please?

MC,
access the BIOS while your PC is booting (e.g. by hiting <DEL>, <F1>, or <F2>
etc. depending on what your motherboard manual or boot screen says).
Search the BIOS menues for something like "wake up on ...".
There are usually settings for LAN and/or modem.
Try to disable the modem entry.
