Can anyone please tell me if this modem can be upgraded so I can achieve
beyond the 31.2K speed I am currently achieving. I've scoured the web for
info, but have come up empty. Motorola no longer provides driver updates on
it's site, and I've been unable to find them anywhere else.

Thanks in advance, Brad

Your connect speed is almost surely being limited by telephone line
conditions, not by software or upgrades.  Unless you are within two to three
miles of your local telephone switching center you will never get better
than 28.8kbps to 33.6kbps connections.

Note that the article compares two modems which have both managed to
negotiate a "56K" class connection (V.90 and V.92). Your own modem is
only able to achieve a V.34 analogue connection. This suggests that
your phone line may be the actual problem. In any case, before
replacing your modem, I'd first verify that your telco has not "pair
gained" your line.
