win 98 doesn't find linksys modem for broadband

I can't get win98 to find modem. It doesn't show linksys in connection from
install modem or in ie tools. I have driver on floppy and in system.

That's because a broadband modem isn't a "Modem", its a Network Adapter.
The "modems" part of Add/Remove Hardware is for TELEPHONE modems only.  It
should install as a Network Adapter.
